國家實驗研究院與英國在台辦事處共同於2023年9月26日與27日舉辦「淨零科技趨勢論壇」，以淨零關鍵科技：氫能、離岸風電、碳捕捉封存、海洋與公正轉型為主題，由臺灣與英國雙邊專家學者，深入剖析淨零轉型所面對的關鍵挑戰與策略，探討如何開啟淨零時代的創新與突破。科技創新為國家淨零轉型的重要關鍵。行政院於今年3月核定「淨零科技方案(2023-2026)」，以創新科技的前瞻布局，串聯產業研發與應用，鏈結國際合作掌握關鍵優勢，藉由人文社會系統面引導科技投入，全面推動淨零轉型。而英國為全球最早將淨零政策列入立法的國家，在淨零科技與政策皆為世界領先。希冀能藉由此次論壇，了解英國在淨零科技的布局與趨勢，彼此交換意見，強化與英方綠色永續發展之鏈結與合作。

About the Forum

National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs) and British Office Taipei jointly host the " UK-TAIWAN Net Zero Academic Research Forum ". We would like to invite you to join this event with us in Taipei or online. This hybrid forum gathers experts and practitioners from both the UK and Taiwan to exchange ideas and learn from the UK’s experience and science-based solutions in climate transition. The United Kingdom was the first country in the world to legislate a net-zero emissions target by 2050 and is a global leader in net-zero technology, research and policy. With the significant role that technological innovation plays in net zero transition and industrial decarbonisation, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), Academia Sinica and multiple ministries collaboratively establish the Net-zero Science and Technology Program. This program aims to create forward-looking plan for innovative technologies, connect research and industrial applications, foster international cooperation, and incorporating humanities and social science lens to technology implementation.
